GETTING STARTED IN BACKYARD COMPOSTING
7:00PM - 8:30PM
Did you know food scraps and yard waste make up 20-30% of the waste stream? Backyard composting keeps these materials out of landfills, where they take up precious space and release methane gas. In this informal lecture, you will learn how to get started in backyard composting, what tools you will need, what to compost and how to maintain a healthy compost that you can add to your garden.
The program will be held at the
Denville Public Library.
Please register with the Denville Public Library on the EVENTS Page.
